Online Learning Opportunities
Volusia Virtual Solutions offers three types of enrollments for Volusia County families.
VOL
VOL is a full-time, comprehensive VCS school that serves students in grades K-12. Families who choose VOL want a virtual alternative to the traditional school setting that leads to a high school diploma. Typically, parents and students want additional flexibility while maintaining the pace, structure, and service of a brick-and-mortar school.

VFlex
VFlex is Volusia County Schools part-time virtual option and is equivalent to FLVS Flex. VFlex uses the same curriculum and platform as FLVS, but with VCS teachers. VFlex offers courses to supplement secondary students’ current brick-and-mortar schedule. Thousands of Flex courses are taken each year by VCS students. We have recently expanded our course offerings to meet the needs of students.

VFlex+
VFlex+ is a part-time program designed for Home Education students who want the full-time experience without the full-time requirements. VFlex+ students can take up to six courses and receive academic counseling and support to help them maintain a pathway to a high school diploma, should they ever return as a full-time student.
