2022-2023 School Start Times

  • Monday - Friday 7:50 am - 2:30 pm
  • Warning Bell: 7:45 am - Students should be lined up outside of their classes ready to enter and prepared for the day
  • Academic Bell: 7:50 am – Academics begin; any student not in class at 7:50 am is considered late.
  • Dismissal: 2:30 pm – No early check-outs permitted after 2:00 pm
  • Early Release Dismissal: 1:30 pm - No early check-outs permitted after 1:00 pm

  • VPK Dismissal begins at 2:15 pm
  • VPK parents park using second loop entrance and walk to corner of building 1 to sign out student (please note older siblings of VPK students will not be dismissed until 2:30 pm)
  • Pre-K and K- 5 Dismissal begins at 2:30 pm
  • K-2 with older siblings pick up using first loop entrance 
  • Pre-K and 3 - 5 pick up using second loop entrance
  • Walkers can be met at the gate by the flagpole or by the field

AM & PM

  • The perimeter of the campus will be secured by 6 ft. fencing
  • The Main Office will be the required access point for all students once gates are locked
  • For families requiring student supervision outside of the hours of 7:30 am – 2:30 pm; please contact the Extended Day Program facilitator: Ms. Negron: ​anegron@volusia.k12.fl.us

School Attendance

Our instructional school day begins promptly at 7:50 a.m. On time arrival and daily attendance is vital for the academic success of our students. Thank you for your support with on time and every day attendance for our students.

Parent Morning Drop Off Loop Gate Closes at 7:50 a.m.

Parents arriving after 7:50 a.m. will need to park in main parking lot and walk students to office to sign them into school. They will receive a late pass from the office staff and head to class.
