Principal's Message

Dear Discovery Families,

I hope this message finds you well and enjoying the summer! My name is Corrine Cobb, and I am incredibly honored and excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Discovery Elementary School.

It is my firm belief that every child deserves an educational experience that is rich with opportunity, fueled by curiosity, and grounded in support. I am committed to creating a school environment where every student feels seen, heard, and empowered to achieve their highest potential. I believe in the strength of collaboration and the incredible things that happen when educators, families, and the community work together for our children.

To begin building these important connections, I warmly invite you to join me for a Meet & Greet for families on Thursday, July 17th from 5:30–6:30 PM here at the school in the media center. This will be a great opportunity for us to get to know one another, share ideas, and kick off a fantastic school year together.

We’re also planning a Campus Beautification Day on Friday, July 26th from 7:30–10:30 AM, and would love to have families join us as we work side by side to freshen up our campus and show our Discovery pride!  We will be sending out information on how you can help us get donations for items we would like to use to beautify our campus.

We’ll be sharing more information soon, including ways to stay connected throughout the year. I cannot wait to meet each of you and begin this exciting journey with your children.
